Team Snow wins U18 Spiel in Kentville, Team Shaw in Consolation final (updated)

The Brayden Snow rink from the Silver Fox and Charlottetown curling clubs went undefeated with a 5-0 record this weekend, winning the final game 6-5 in an extra end over Team Fitzgerald in the ten-team Glooscap Invitational Under 18 curling event, which wrapped up this afternoon at the Glooscap Curling Club in Kentville NS. Also making it to this afternoon’s Championship round was the Katie Shaw rink from Cornwall, who finished round-robin play with a 3-1 win-loss record, but lost the Consolation final 9-5 to Team Currie. No other PEI teams were entered. The U15 division also attracted 10 teams, and was won by team Deveau-Jollimore.
