Temporary Club Closure announcements for Silver Fox, Montague, Crapaud, Souris, Maple Leaf

Silver Fox:  Due to the announcement today from Premier King, and Dr. Morrison, the Silver Fox Curling club will cease operations, for at least the next 2 weeks. This “circuit breaker” will hopefully help to get us back on track for the New Year. We will cancel the planned Doubles Bonspiel, as well as the Leo Stewart Memorial Bonspiel, and will try to hold these events in 2021. We will follow the CPHO guidelines, and provide updates as we determine what the next steps are. Stay safe everyone.

Montague: Following 4 new COVID-19 cases, the PEI Chief Provincial Health Office and the Government of PEI issued a number of directives on Sunday afternoon to the effect that PEI will be doing a “Circuit breaker” for the next two weeks, and requesting that Islanders stay home as much as possible. One of these directives was that there would be no team sports. Please stay safe and hopefully we’ll see you in 2 weeks.

Crapaud: PEI’s Dr. Morrison has announced a Caution Alert. No Team Sports for 2 weeks until December 21. Also we will not be open Fridays until Dec 21. Chase the Ace will be on hold until further announcement.

Souris: As per Health PEI’s announcement this afternoon, we have received confirmation that we will not be able to curl until after the 21st Dec.

Stay Safe and Healthy Friends!
Cara, Ian, Sandra and Bev

Maple Leaf: As a result of today’s directive from Dr. Heather Morrison (CPHO) the Maple Leaf Curling Club will be closed for the next two weeks effective immediately. A further update will be announced by December 21st. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Stay safe!
