The annual Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network Stick Curling Tournament was held on Thursday at the Cornwall Curling Club, with the Montague Curling Club twosome of Billy Power and Howard Kerwin capturing the first place prize.

In second place was Cornwall Curling Club’s John Dunsford and Myrna Sanderson.

Third place honours went to Cornwall members Janette Fraser and Carolyn Crockett.

The event was organized by Etta Reid of Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network, with support from Ernie Stavert of Stick Curl PEI.

Many of the same teams will be back in Cornwall from February 9-11 for the Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral Home PEI Stick Curling Championships.
