Curl PEI is still planning to hold the PEI Curling Club Championships, beginning on March 26, 2021, with the winning men’s and women’s teams advancing to the 2021 Everest Canadian Curling Club Championships at the Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club from Nov. 28-Dec. 4, 2021.
The following changes are being made to accommodate the recent shutdown and current restrictions which have, among other things, delayed some club playdowns:
- The entry deadline will be extended from March 5 to March 17. This is still just a commitment that the Club is entering a team, — player names are not required until March 22.
- The Women’s Division will be held at the Crapaud Community Curling Club while the Men’s Division will be held at the Montague Curling Club.
Curl PEI is proceeding with the intent to play the events and will re-evaluate the plan on March 12, two weeks before the Championships are scheduled to begin.
