Day 4 of the 2021 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship brought some clarity to how the final playoff picture will look as four draws of action took place at the Canmore Golf & Curling Club on Wednesday.

As the format dictates, the top four teams in each pool advance to the Championship Pool where the teams play the teams from the opposite pool, carrying forward their full win-loss records. Meanwhile, the bottom three teams in each pool will go to the Seeding Pool, where they will compete against the three teams from the opposite pool to determine the final standings and set up the seedings for the 2022 Canadian Mixed Championship.

From pool A, the Championship Pool qualifiers are the Northwest Territories’ Kevin Koe (5-1; Yellowknife), Northern Ontario’s Trevor Bonot (5-1; Thunder Bay), Québec’s Jean-Michel Ménard (5-1; Etchemin/Des Collines) and Manitoba’s Alex Forrest (3-3; Winnipeg).

Advancing to the Championship Pool from pool B is Ontario’s Mike McLean (5-1; Ottawa), New Brunswick’s James Grattan (4-2; Fredericton), British Columbia’s Sebastien Robillard (4-2; Kamloops) and Saskatchewan’s Dean Grindheim (4-2; North Battleford).
