Team Birt of the Montague Curling Club has been selected to be Team PEI at the 2022 Scotties Tournament of Hearts scheduled for January 28 – February 6 in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Curl PEI’s women’s provincial was cancelled last week as team sports were paused in the province in an effort to slow the spread of the Omicron variant.

Team Birt was selected by Curl PEI based on their standing in the Canadian Team Ranking System (CTRS). The team is made up of Skip – Suzanne Birt, Third – Marie Christianson, Second – Meaghan Hughes, Lead – Michelle McQuaid and Coach/Alternate – Kathy O’Rourke.
