One Team Undefeated After Day 1 of Play at the PEI Canada Games Mixed Doubles Trial

The PEI Canada Games Mixed Doubles Trial got underway Friday at the Montague Curling Club.

The event has 5 teams registered and is playing a round robin with three teams advancing to the playoff. The winner of the event earns the right to represent PEI at the upcoming 2023 Canada Games in February.

The Rachel MacLean/Chase MacMillan team are undefeated at the end of day one.  The Ella Lenentine/Mitchell Schut rink are sitting in second with two wins and a lost.  Tied at third with a 1-2 record are Reid Hart/Keegan Warnell and Sydney Howatt/Liam Kelly.  Still looking for their first win is the Mollie Shaw/Luke Butler team.
