The 2024 U16 Provincial Curling Championships kick off at the Montague Curling Club this Friday, March 1st. The championship is composed of eight teams from all across the Island representing the Cornwall, Montague, and West Prince Curling Clubs.
This year’s championships will have two pools of four teams playing a round-robin format before crossing over in the championship round. In this round, the 1 and 2 seeds will play off for a spot in the gold medal game, with the losers playing off in the bronze medal game. The 3 and 4 seeds will also play for their chance in the consolation game, with the losers playing in the 7-8 seeding game. This ensures a full weekend of curling and fun for all eight teams.
