Four teams, including PEI’s Robert Campbell rink undefeated at Canadian Mixed

 

(Postmedia News) MORRIS, Man. — East Coast foursomes are off to a hot start at the Canadian mixed curling championship.

Three rinks from the Atlantic region are tied atop the standings along with host Manitoba after Sunday’s third draw, with all four teams sitting at 2-0.

Robert Campbell of Prince Edward Island toppled Northern Ontario’s Craig Kochan 5-3, while Nova Scotia’s Paul Flemming dumped British Columbia’s Tom Buchy 8-5 to highlight the Sunday afternoon draws.

Manitoba’s Terry McNamee easily handled Ontario’s Chris Gardner 6-2 in eight ends in Draw 3, while New Brunswick’s Charlie Sullivan, who had the afternoon off, defeated Saskatchewan’s Steven Slupski 8-5 in the Sunday morning draw.
