Brad Gushue confirmed this morning on the Team Gushue Facebook page that PEI’s Brett Gallant will be joining his team for the Players’ Championship, April 17-22 in Summerside. Gushue’s third Ryan Fry recently left the team, and the hunt was on both for a replacement for this event, and for a long term replacement. Also on Gushue’s team is Gallant’s former long-time teammate, and Summerside native, Adam Casey.

Gushue commented on Facebook “We should be the crowd favorites as PEI boy Brett Gallant will be joining us for the Player’s Championship in Summerside, PEI. Adam will be returning to his hometown to play as well.”

Tickets for the Players’ Championship, which features the top eight men’s and top eight women’s teams in the world, are available at Credit Union Place, or at CUPevents.ca.
