In order to conform with many other sports, Curl PEI is renaming the age categories for a number of its championship events. The 20 and Under (Juniors), 17 and Under, 15 and Under, and 12 and Under events will now be known as the Under 21, Under 18, Under 16, and Under 13, respectively, which will be abbreviated to U21, U18, U16, and U13. During the transition,  there may be references to both the old and new names, but they both will refer to the same event.
