There’s only three teams left at the Alberta Scotties playdowns in Sylvan Lake, and Calgary’s Crystal Webster rink, which includes Summerside native Geri-Lynn Ramsay, is not among them, after losing to the Cheryl Bernard team 10-9 in an extra end last night. Bernard also has PEI connections – her father was born in Freetown, and she has relatives in the area.

The 11:30 am Atlantic semi-final between Bernard and Heather Nedohin, and the 4:30 pm AT final between Val Sweeting and the semi-final winner will be televised live on Sportsnet West and Pacific (available here)
