The final draw of the inaugural Future Scotties, a development event for Junior curlers who may one day participate in the Scotties, begins at 10 this morning at the Charlottetown Curling Complex, with Emily Keen taking on Meghan Ching in a battle of Cornwall Curling Club teams, and Kaleign MacKay from Montague Crapaud facing Lauren Moerike from the host club.

The Scotties final goes at 2 pm, with 2010 Canadian Scotties silver medallist Kathy O’Rourke, undefeated in this event, taking on 9 time PEI Scotties champ and last year’s runner-up, Kim Dolan. Both teams curl out of the host club.

Admission is free for the Future Scotties, and just $5 for the Scotties final.
