Q. What are you most looking forward to in Montreal, aside from the curling?
A. Meet old friends, meet new curlers and enjoy the sounds & sights of Montreal
Q. Which female player – who plays your position (alternates, use your usual position) do you most admire and respect?
A. Too many to list

Q. If you could compete in Sochi in an event OTHER THAN curling, what would that be?
A. Hockey….sticking with team atmosphere.
Q. Montreal is a “foodie” town, one of the best in the world. What kind of cuisine or specific restaurant is on your list for this journey?
A. French, Italian, and good pub fare
Q. Who has been the biggest influence on your career?
A. All my team mates
Q. What is your favourite non-curling activity, charity, community group, or endeavour that is important to you?
A. Love riding my Harley with family and friends…..taking a run with my dogs. Children’s Wish and Breakfast Program in schools.

A. Seeing some of the city’s sites

A. Kim Kelly (NS)

A. Jon Mead (Man)
Q. If you could compete in Sochi in an event OTHER THAN curling, what would that be?
A. Cross country skiing

A. Montreal smoked meat
Q. Who has been the biggest influence on your career?
A. My parents who are always in attendance supporting my sister and I on the ice
Q. What is your favourite non-curling activity, charity, community group, or endeavour that is important to you?
A. Date nights with my husband

Q. What are you most looking forward to in Montreal, aside from the curling?
A. See the big city of Montreal! Meet new curlers, try out some restaurants
Q. Which female player – who plays your position (alternates, use your usual position) do you most admire and respect?
A. Mary-Ann Arsenault (NS)
Q. Male player, your position?
A. Robbie Doherty
Q. If you could compete in Sochi in an event OTHER THAN curling, what would that be?
A. Short Track Speed Skating or Women’s hockey
Q. Montreal is a “foodie” town, one of the best in the world. What kind of cuisine or specific restaurant is on your list for this journey?
A. Italian and a good pizza place.
Q. Who has been the biggest influence on your career?
A. I suppose my mother.
Q. What is your favourite non-curling activity, charity, community group, or endeavour that is important to you?
A. Riding my motorcycle on a sunny day with family and friends. Children’s Wish Foundation.

LEAD MICHALA ROBISON
Q What are you most looking forward to in Montreal, aside from the curling?
A. Eating at great restaurants and shopping! Seeing the sights, I’ve never been to Montreal before!
Q. Which female player – who plays your position (alternates, use your usual position) do you most admire and respect?
A. I can’t name just one player, especially in my position. I’ve always loved watching all the women’s curling growing up.
Q. Male player, your position?
A. For a male lead, I guess when I was a younger curler I would say Don Bartlett (Alta).
Q. If you could compete in Sochi in an event OTHER THAN curling, what would that be?
A. Cross Country Skiing
Q. Montreal is a “foodie” town, one of the best in the world. What kind of cuisine or specific restaurant is on your list for this
journey?
A. I would like to try Italian or French cuisine, and I love pizza so a few pizza spots!
Q. Who has been the biggest influence on your career?
A. My skip Kim Dolan! She coached Sinead and me through our junior career and now we have the opportunity to play with her! It’s awesome!
Q. What is your favourite non-curling activity, charity, community group, or endeavour that is important to you?
A. Aside from school, getting our tour business, Trendy Tours up and running for the summer! Trendytours.ca

ALTERNATE JACKIE REID
Q. What are you most looking forward to in Montreal, aside from the curling?
A. I am looking forward to seeing the city, and doing some shopping!
Q. Which female player – who plays your position (alternates, use your usual position) do you most admire and respect?
A. Jill Officer (Man)
Q. Male player, your position?
Marc Kennedy (Alta)
Q. If you could compete in Sochi in an event OTHER THAN curling, what would that be?
Q. Speed skating (I used to be a speed skater before I started curling)
A. Montreal is a “foodie” town, one of the best in the world. What kind of cuisine
or specific restaurant is on your list for this journey?
A. Montreal’s famous smoked meat shops!
Q. Who has been the biggest influence on your career?
A. I am a teacher so the person who has made the biggest influence on my teaching career is my Grade 12 homeroom teacher, Ramona Noseworthy. The person who has made the biggest influence on my curling career has been Robert Campbell.
Q. What is your favourite non-curling activity, charity, community group, or endeavour that is important to you?
Taking my sheltie, Cassie Bella, to the dog park for a play date with all the other dogs and regularly attending my bootcamp classes with 3rd Degree Training.

COACH NANCY CAMERON
Q. What are you most looking forward to in Montreal, aside from the curling?
A. Seeing old friends, sightseeing and of course, shopping.
Q. Which female player – who plays your position (alternates, use your usual position) do you most admire and respect?
A. Pat B. Reid

Q If you could compete in Sochi in an event OTHER THAN curling, what would that be?
Q. Skiing
A. Montreal is a “foodie” town, one of the best in the world. What kind of cuisine or specific restaurant is on your list for this journey?
A. Nothing specific as I enjoy everything except for lobster. Yes, you read that right, an Islander who doesn’t like lobster.
Q. Who has been the biggest influence on your career?
A. Biggest influence without question – my Dad.
Q. What is your favourite non-curling activity, charity, community group, or endeavour that is important to you?
Cruising around the Island on my Harley with Kimi D and Sinead! Helping coach Special Olympics, I never walk away without a smile on my face.
