Adam Casey begins new curling chapter (Journal)

OAKVILLE, Ont. – Adam Casey of Seven Mile Bay is beginning a new chapter in his curling career.

Casey, after curling the past few seasons with Brad Gushue in St. John’s, N.L., is skipping his own team on P.E.I. this season. Casey, third stone Josh Barry, second stone Anson Carmody and lead Robbie Doherty opened play in the 2014 Stu Sells Oakville Tankard on Thursday. They  were opposed by Jake Walker’s foursome from Brampton, Ont., at 1 p.m., Atlantic time.

“We are really looking forward to this season,” said Casey in an interview with the Journal Pioneer on Thursday morning. “Obviously, there are a lot of differences, changes and new guys.
