The curling and stick curling draws for the Vogue Optical 2016 PEI 55+ Winter Games are now available. Please note that these schedules are subject to change pending weather or other unforeseen circumstances. You can print a copy 2016 55 Mixed and Mens Curling & 2016 55+ Stick Curling too. All matches are at the Silver Fox Curling Club.

55 + MIXED & 65+ MIXED CURLING

The 55+ and the 65+ Mixed have been combined for ease of scheduling.
The 55 + will have their own set of medals and will play a Gold / Silver game.
The 65+ will also have their own set of medals and will play a Gold / Silver game, however the team finishing 3rd will not have to play and will be awarded the Bronze medals.
Placement will be determined by who beat who, however, if 3 or more are tied, a draw to  the button will be used.

ALL GAMES ARE 8 ENDS. IF TIED A FULL EXTRA END WILL BE PLAYED.

UPON ARRIVAL YOU WILL DRAW A NUMBER WHICH WILL BE YOUR TEAM NUMBER ON THE SCHEDULE & DETERMINE YOUR POOL

Pool “A” will be teams 1-5 and Pool “B” will be teams 6-10
Gold/ Silver medal game will be the highest points in Pool “A” vs the highest points in pool “B”
Bronze medal game will be the 2nd highest points in pool “A” vs the 2nd highest points in pool “B”
In the event of a tied medal game, a full extra end will be played.

POINT SYSTEM:
5 points for a win
½ point for a blank end
1 point for each end won
1 point for the difference in score to a maximum of 3 points
