Team PEI still looking for 1st win after Tuesday play at the Canadian Mixed

The Jamie Newson team from the Silver Fox Curling Club in Summerside are PEI’s representatives in the 2020 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship, Nov. 3-9, 2019, at Foyer des loisirs et de la culture in Saguenay, Que, and finished their second day with a 0-4 win-loss record, losing 7-3 to BC and 7-4 to the Yukon. On Wednesday, PEI wraps up round-robin play against Manitoba at 10:30 am and N. Ont at 3 pm PEI time. Seeding and Championship pool play begins Thurs.

The winner of the 2020 Canadian Mixed Championship will represent Canada at the 2020 World Mixed Curling Championship (dates next October and location TBA by the World Curling Federation).
