Repeat winners at the PEI Seniors Curling Championships

The PEI Seniors Curling Championships, for curlers in the 50+ age category, came to an early conclusion Saturday evening at the Silver Fox Entertainment Complex in Summerside with defending champions, the Shelly Bradley team from the Cornwall Curling Club and  the Philip Gorveatt rink from the Montague Curling Club sweeping their respective divisions, going undefeated and winning the events.

Team Bradley played Darlene London’s foursome from the Montague Curling Club in a best of five.

There were five teams entered in the Men’s division.  Gorveatt came up against Blair Jay’s team from the host Club in two of the three qualifying games.

The winning teams advance tot he 2023 Everest Canadian Seniors Curling Championships from December 4-10, 2023 in Vernon, BC.
