SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. – Erin Carmody of Summerside was presented with the prestigious Sandra Schmirler most valuable player award for the 2010 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.
The award goes to the top curler in the playoffs at the Canadian women’s curling championship. Carmody was presented with the award at Sunday night’s victory banquet following Team Canada’s 8-7 extra-end win over P.E.I. in the championship game.
