The Rod MacDonald team defeated the Tyler Smith rink in this afternoon’s final of the Island Petroleum Cashspiel at the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club in Summerside. Playing with MacDonald were Peter Gallant, Mark O’Rourke, and Mark Butler.  The Blair Jay foursome won the bronze medal game, defeating the Alex MacFadyen team. The Blair Weeks squad took the Consolation Final with a win over Alan Inman and his team.
