Wheelchair curling demo/workshop Sat. at Crapaud

A free Wheelchair Curling Demo and Instructional Workshop will be held this Saturday December 4 from 4:30 to 7 pm at the Crapaud Community Curling Club.
Trendal Hubley- Bolivar, a member of Nova Scotia’s Wheelchair Provincial Team as well as an instructor for wheelchair curling, who is attending the Competition Coach’s Workshop Saturday and Sunday, has agreed to put on the workshop for interested participants, potential coaches as well as family and friends. Plans are in the works to host an Atlantic Wheelchair Camp and Games on PEI in mid-January, and as many interested participants as possible are urged to come out to this clinic on Saturday.
Please note: Persons planning to attend the camp in January should have attended one of the previous three workshops held here on PEI and/or are willing to train/practice/play between now and mid January.
