Curl PEI will be hosting a series of online discussions, we are calling CurlTopia Sessions, for any and all who are interested in helping to shape the future of curling on PEI.  These sessions will have a Club focus and will include topics such as Trends, Volunteerism, Fundraising, Marketing, Inclusivity and more.  They will be free, online and open to all.  Participants will be expected to watch or listen to one of The Future of Curling Masterclass presented by Curling Canada before joining an online discussion.  We are planning to have most, if not all, masterclass presenters join us online to be a part of the discussion.

Charlottetown Curling Club Curling Get Together

The CCC Board will be hosting CCC members and friends for a fun get together and curling games on March 9th at the Cornwall Curling Club.

Single or group entries are welcome.  Junior participants as well.  We will guarantee two, 4 end games and refreshments. Please send entries to [email protected].  There is no cost for participants.

Entry Deadline October 27 for the PEI Brewing Company Spiel (CTRS Points Event), set for November 24-26

The PEI Brewing Company Spiel, which is a CTRS points event, takes place on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, Nov. 24, 25 & 26 at the Silver Fox Entertainment Complex in Summerside.  This event is open to men’s and women’s teams with 8 teams per division.

Entry Deadline is Friday, October 27, 2023.

Entry Fee is $400 per team.

Nominations open for Curl PEI ADL Awards

The Curl PEI Board of Directors are  excited to announce the return of the Curl PEI ADL Awards. Curl PEI believes it is important to acknowledge the accomplishments of those people within our organization who contribute, excel and promote the sport of curling.  These awards are intended to celebrate individuals, teams and volunteers for their outstanding contributions at all levels of our sport, club level and grassroots initiatives, all the way up to our highest performing athletes.

Nominate an outstanding and deserving candidate – or more – for one of 8 awards!

The final Friday evening Drop-In Curling session of the season at the Cornwall Curling Club is set for Friday, March 20, beginning at 7 pm. Everyone who would like to get in a game of curling or check out the sport or the Cornwall club, is welcome to attend.

Room for 2 more jr. men’s, 2 more jr. women’s teams in Feb. Freeze at Fox

The February Freeze junior cashspiel is set for the Silver Fox Curling & Yacht Club in Summerside on Feb. 13, 14, and 15. Currently there are 10 junior men’s and and equal number of junior women’s teams signed up. There is  room for 2 more teams on each side, but organizers will require two teams to sign up on either side in order to make an even draw. Entry fee is $125 per team, and guarantees five games.
